How it works

  2. We cut your set

    Your accents are precision-cut to the shape of the spokes and shipped within 1–2 weeks.

  3. Apply at home

    Clean the wheel, line up each piece and press it on. No tools beyond a cloth and some patience.

Installation

Take your time on the first blade. Once you've found the line, the rest go faster.

  1. Clean the spokesWash the wheel, dry it, then wipe each spoke with isopropyl alcohol. Any wax or brake dust will stop the vinyl from sticking.
  2. Work in the shadeApply on a cool wheel, ideally between 60°F and 85°F. Hot wheels make vinyl stretch; cold ones make it stiff.
  3. Test-fit before peelingHold a blade against the spoke with its backing still on so you know exactly where it lines up.
  4. Anchor one end, then lay it downPeel the backing, tack down one end along the spoke edge, then press toward the other end to avoid bubbles.
  5. Press it firmGo over each blade with a microfiber cloth, paying extra attention to the edges.
  6. Let it setGive the adhesive 24 hours before washing the car.

About Turbine Tats

Turbine Tats is a small, independent shop in Lompoc, California. Every set is designed from measurements of a real wheel and cut to order, so you get exactly the color you picked.

The idea is simple: factory wheels look great, but they look the same on every car. A set of vinyl accents makes them yours, and if you change your mind, they peel off.

FAQ

Will this damage my wheels?

No. Turbine Tats are removable vinyl that sits on top of the factory finish. There's no drilling, painting or cutting, and they come off cleanly with a little heat.

Which wheels do they fit?

The wheel set fits 21-inch Uberturbine wheels, the kind found on Model Y Performance. It does not fit the 20-inch Uberturbine on Model 3 Performance. A 20-inch Induction set is in development.

Can I get a color that isn't listed?

Yes. Choose Custom on Etsy and send the exact link to any vinyl from 143vinyl.com in your order notes or a message.

How long until it arrives?

Every set is cut to order and ships within 1–2 weeks. Etsy shows an estimated delivery date at checkout.

What if I mess up a piece?

Each set includes a few spare blades, so one bad placement isn't a problem.

Can I go through a car wash?

Hand washing is best. Wait 24 hours after installing, and keep pressure washers away from the edges of the vinyl.

Can I return them?

Returns are accepted within 30 days through Etsy. Buyers cover return shipping, and items need to be in original condition.
